The process of pulling a canvas taut and securing it over a frame or stretcher bars, typically for painting. The process of enlarging, shrinking, or otherwise resizing a digital canvas or its displayed area. The distortion of a canvas or the image on it caused by stretching it beyond its intended dimensions.
